Is Eat Cheffie in beta? How much does it cost?
Yes, we're currently in beta. Early vendors get full access to the platform at no cost while we build and refine the product with real kitchens. When paid tiers launch, early adopters will lock in a discounted rates. No surprises - we'll give plenty of notice before anything changes.
How long until I can start taking orders?
You can be live in under an hour. Set up your kitchen profile, prep your menu with photos and prices, connect your Stripe account, and you're ready. Share your storefront link and start accepting orders. The onboarding walks you through each step.
Do you handle delivery?
Delivery is managed by you - you set your delivery zones, fees, and schedule. Eat Cheffie gives you the tools: delivery calendar, route planning, and customer notifications. We'll be adding integrated courier options down the line. For now, most vendors handle delivery themselves or use their preferred service.
Who is Eat Cheffie actually for?
Anyone running a food business from their kitchen - home-based, commercial, solo, or small team. Meal preppers, caterers, pop-up chefs, snack sellers. If you cook and sell, Eat Cheffie is built for you. There's no minimum order volume and no "too small" to be here.
How do payments and payouts work?
Customers pay via Stripe at checkout - card, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Funds land in your connected Stripe account and are paid out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule (typically 7 days - faster once you're established). Eat Cheffie's platform fee will be introduced after beta. For now, you keep everything.
